A Message from Our Staff

Dear Church Family,

These are unusual circumstances. Most of you have heard by now that there are confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Cleburne County. I know it was difficult to miss Sunday morning services, but I believe it was the best decision considering recent developments. Unfortunately, it seems this may last for several weeks. I want to clarify a few things and update you on information concerning our church.

Continue to pray for Bro. Mike as he continues to run a fever. He is being monitored by his doctor and family. During his illness if you have any pastoral needs please contact Phillip or Chris on their cell phones as Bro. Mike continues to rest at home.

The church office is semi-open, Phillip and Chris will be in and out due to the schools being closed. If you need to come by the office call ahead and make sure someone is in. PLEASE follow the social distancing recommendations if you do come to the church facilities. All church activities are suspended until at least March 29. This is not a date when we will for sure be back but a date when we will reevaluate the situation and make future decisions. This means we will not have a worship service in person again this week (March 22) or next week (March 29). The staff will stream a worship service live on Facebook at 10:45 AM both Sundays. For our Sunday School study and Break the Chains Celebration we are postponing both until things return to normal.

Several of you have asked about tithes and offerings. You may bring them in person to the church (call ahead) or mail them to PO Box 908 Heber Springs, AR 72543. It also is possible to set up automatic bill pay through your local banks. The staff is going to try to post daily updates live on Facebook and other social media avenues. Be sure to check in on others in your church family during this time.

I encourage you all to take the information provided by the CDC and government leaders seriously and make the best possible decisions to keep yourselves and your families safe. Pray for our country, for this disease to end, all leaders, and our church during these times!
